The Paintsville Tigers picked up an 8-2 win over the Hazard Bulldogs at home on Saturday.
For Paintsville, Anderson Lauffer had 3 hits, including a double and 2 RBIs. Luke Stratton added 2 hits. Lukas Stewart had a double and 1 RBI. Shane Blair had a double. Brody Howell and Kruze Howell each had a hit and 1 RBI. Colton Short and DIxon Kincheloe both had a hit.
Stewart got the win on the mound, allowing only 1 earned run on 3 hits with a strikeout over 3 innings pitched.
For Hazard, Tucker Napier had 2 hits, including a double and 1 RBI. Ross Logan added a hit and 1 RBI. Trace Kincaid finished with a hit.
Napier was given the loss on the mound.
